Coming up
Alison Proctor in Conversation – Thursday 7 September 2023, 7pm
Alison Proctor is the current Society of Antiquaries of London / Heritage Crafts Maker in Residence at Kelmscott Manor, the summer home of William Morris. She creates wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces that reflect her passion for nature. In recent years she has begun to explore the tradition of using ‘sprigs’ (hand cast reliefs taken from moulds) to decorate her work, as a way to record and reveal the rich diversity of flora on her doorstep. Alison is a member of London Potters, Kent Potters and an Associate Member of the Craft Potters Association.
