They are seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Trainee Scissor Manufacturers. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality scissors. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fabrication of scissors, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components
  • Safely operate machinery in the manufacture of the scissors
  • Operate hand tools and basic tooling equipment safely and effectively
  • Participate in the assembly of scissors, following technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to uphold safety standards
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times during manufacturing processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on workflow and processes

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical principles and metalworking techniques
  • Experience or familiarity with fabrication, grinding, welding, or assembly is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good organisational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
