They operate across five market sectors: Structural Steel, Reinforcement Division, Overhead Travelling Cranes, Steel Stockholding and Agricultural Equipment.

They are offering a Welder, Fabricator and Welder/Fabricator apprenticeship programme through BCSA which is a leading trade body representing the structural steel sector in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with on-site training where you will work alongside an experienced team to become fully qualified for a career in the Constructional Steel Industry. You will be awarded a BCSA CRAFT accredited certificate as a Welder, Fabricator or Fabricator/Welder within 2 years. The programme is designed to provide hands-on learning, real-world exposure, and encourage health and safety regulations in a busy working environment.

An ideal apprentice will be willing to listen, work hard and willingly try new things on-the-job to assist our workshop with tacking beams, reading drawings and comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Abide by modern health and safety regulations and put them in to practice.
• Tack and weld beams, using the correct techniques and machines.
• Work as part of a team.
