Trainee Component Maker (Pointe Shoes)

The Suffolk Pointe Shoe Company are recruiting a trainee component maker for pointe shoes. No previous experience is required as full training is provided.

Responsibilities: 

• Assemble components to make insoles and blocks for Ballet Pointe Shoes.
• Learn and follow each stage of the insole and block-making processes.
• Use sanding machines, hand tools and manual presses.
• Work with adhesives and materials to assemble components accurately.
• Cut and prepare materials using knives.
• Meet daily production targets in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Confident with practical, hands-on tasks.
• Organised, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Basic literacy skills.

This is a full time, permanent position at 39 hours per week.
