Harry Walkeden, Stonemasonry and dry stone walling

Harry Walkeden, from North Yorkshire, served for nine years as a Guardsman/ Drummer in the Coldstream Guards, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Since leaving the Army, he has been working as an apprentice stonemason for the National Trust. He was a training bursary in 2025 to fund a series of specialist courses to help him to establish a successful business in stonemasonry and dry stone walling.
Harry’s bursary was supported by the Army Benevolent Fund.
