Rachel Holding, reverse glass gilding and sign painting

Rachel Holding, from London, has practised reverse glass gilding and sign painting for six years alongside a professional career as an advertising creative. In 2026, she was awarded a training bursary to fund bespoke one-to-one training with master craftsman Robert ‘Umberto’ Walker, developing advanced reverse glass water gilding, acid etching and brilliant cutting.Rachel’s bursary was funded by the Dulverton Trust.
