Emmaly Crimmel, from Swansea, was a MA Glass student at Swansea College of Art with a background in fine art, drawing and wood craftsmanship. Emmaly was awarded a training bursary in 2026, to fund specialist glass painting, engraving and conservation masterclasses with leading practitioners Jonathan Cooke, Zoe Boulton, Tracey Sheppard, Derek Hunt and Rachel Phillips, as well as essential traditional tools. Emmaly’s bursary was funded by the Ashley Family Foundation.
