Daniel Cope, shoemaking

Daniel Cope, from Northampton, once completing a factory-based footwear manufacturing apprenticeship, Daniel was awarded a training bursary in 2026, which funded intensive one-to-one training sessions in bespoke shoemaking with master shoemaker Robert Elek, covering hand lasting, welting, insole preparation and finishing. Daniel’s bursary was funded by the Dulverton Trust.
