2027 Calendar Photography Competition

We are excited to announce that we are creating a official Heritage Crafts 2027 Calendar, to be sold through our online shop later this year.

To make this calendar a true celebration of traditional craft skills across the UK, we are inviting makers to submit high-quality photographs of their work and workshops. Twelve selected makers will be featured as the main image for each month of the year, showcasing the incredible breadth, precision and beauty of heritage crafts to thousands of craft enthusiasts.

Why enter?

Selected makers will receive:

• National publicity: Your work featured prominently in a beautifully printed wall calendar, plus year-round promotion across the Heritage Crafts website, newsletters and social media channels.
• Featured maker profile: Full credit alongside your image, including details of your craft, business name and website/social media handles.
• Copies at cost price: You will receive a free copy of the calendar and be able to order up to 15 more at cost price for your friends, family or customers.

What are we looking for?

We want striking, evocative imagery that captures the heart of traditional craftsmanship.

To enter, you must submit between three and six high-resolution images, which must include:

• At least one photo of you carrying out a craft process in your workshop, studio or on-site setting.
• High-quality images of your finished work or key details of your craft.

Please note: Images should be landscape orientation and original high-resolution files suitable for full-page printing.

How to enter

Submitting your photos takes just a few minutes via our online entry form. You will be asked to upload your images and provide a few brief details about your craft, captions for the photos and relevant copyright permissions.
