About

With a passion for textiles and heritage craft, I specialise in garment construction, hand-sewing, flag-making, and traditional textile techniques. My work explores both practical craftsmanship and storytelling through fabric, from the creation of bespoke garments to large-scale textile pieces.

My flags have flown over castles and institutions across the UK, with one set even touring South America with The Libertines. I’ve also shared my knowledge of Welsh textile heritage on BBC’s Weatherman Walking, teaching presenter Derek Brockway about the legacy of wool in Wales and the fundamentals of weaving.

I work with a range of traditional techniques, including appliqué, basic hand-weaving, felting (both needle and wet), and natural dyeing. While much of my flag-making and garment construction is done by machine, I have a strong foundation in hand-sewing and heritage stitching methods, including flat-felled and lapped seams.

Beyond my own practice, I work in costume for TV and film and offer workshops in textile techniques. I am available for bookings by organisations and groups interested in exploring traditional textile skills, whether through hands-on making or discussions on textile heritage.

I’m always keen to connect with others passionate about preserving and evolving textile traditions—whether through making, teaching, or research.
