About

I am a second-generation traditional hand engraver, specialising in precious metals and working in the heritage craft of hand engraving.

My work is rooted in heraldic engraving, creating family crests, coats of arms and other designs that celebrate lineage and identity. Alongside traditional work, I also enjoy creating bespoke contemporary engravings that capture an individual’s heritage, culture and personality, bringing together historic techniques with a more personal, modern approach.

I specialise in deep seal engraving, a traditional technique that allows the finished engraving to be pressed into sealing wax, creating a clear and highly detailed impression of the design. This process beautifully reveals the depth and precision of the engraving, while creating a lasting connection to the historic purpose of the craft.

As I continue to develop my practice, I aspire to learn the traditional skill of stone engraving, expanding my knowledge and technical skill set while continuing to preserve and build upon the heritage of hand engraving.
