Samantha Thompson
About
Samantha M. Thompson is a lithographer. She explores themes of race, identity and culture through portraiture. Thompson has committed herself to stone lithography as it is a laborious printing technique that allows her to give time back to those who are often overlooked.
As an emerging printmaker, she has worked with The Serendipity Institute for Black arts and Heritage and as a resident lithographer at the Münchner Künstlerhaus.
Thompson is currently developing her practice of lithography and alternative processes while based in Bedford.
