About
Working predominantly with waste and surplus materials, I create large-scale tassels and artworks that incorporate Passementerie, these function as expressive sculptural forms and vehicles for communication. Through a hands-on approach to making, learning, and experimentation my work explores the relationships between heritage craft, sustainability, and material transformation .By adapting traditional craft knowledge my artworks experiment with the hidden potential of overlooked waste materials while celebrating the importance of endangered crafts. Although grounded in environmental awareness, the work is usually experimental, visually full of joy, playfulness, and vibrant colours .
