About
I’m drawn to the way we carry both vulnerability and power. How identity is formed whilst navigating pressure, confusion, and the need to belong. How youthful energy creates new mythology connected to ancient archetypes. These themes are rooted in my own experiences, and in those of the people around me.
These currents flow into small, three dimensional, hand sculpted memories of youth, the urban experience, and links with classical mythology.
I’m currently working in alabaster and aim to sculpt in marble in the future. I’m enjoying the combination of ancient material and traditional techniques, it offers a way to give a new impact and weight to the subject matter I’m working with.
