About

I am a designer and maker who uses the traditional craft skills, fire, hammer and tongs, to create masterpieces for homes and gardens.
I have restored heritage works, such as the large gates at All Souls College Oxford, but I have used those same skills to create the Diamond Jubilee gates, at the Church of St James the Great, at Winscombe, Somerset, in memory of our Late Queen.
My commissions are designed as a celebration of the Craft of the Blacksmith.
As the holder of a Silver medal awarded by the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths, the Freedom of the City of London awarded in 1994, as well as winning National Champion Blacksmith 5 times, I have big responsibility to keep a high standard of workmanship.
My skills are on offer to those wish to be a blacksmith for a day, or more, working under my watchful eye, in my forge in Devon, with the opportunity of booking places through Craft Courses.
