About
A self-confessed glass nerd with an endless imagination and excitement for my work, I love storytelling, creating beautiful artworks with an interesting and sometimes dark back story, and using what people have called my quirky character to make people smile. I believe art is good for the soul and for mental well-being, and I try to bring art into as many people’s lives as possible. Following a visit to Scotland many years ago, I discovered traditional stained glass making and fell - quite accidentally - into the wonders of glass art which quickly drew me in and began my journey into the art world. Through testing my ideas against traditionalist views, I’ve developed my skills into fusing techniques, designing intricate and unconventional art. My ever-evolving style is inspired by a wide range of sources, including comic, pop art, nature, photography, and art in its wider context. I use techniques including airbrushing, powder printing, freehand painting, and sgraffito prior to kiln firing, incorporating other materials alongside glass to ensure my creations are truly unique.
I have work exhibited in galleries and museums and found in private collections across the globe. My work has been selected for the International Festivals of Glass, including the British Glass Biennale in 2019, 2022 and 2024, and the Glass Art Society’s International Members Exhibition 2026 where I received Best in Show.
I also designed and made a glass costume which featured in Laura Donefer’s Glass Fashion Show at the 2026 GAS conference, Corning Museum of Glass.
