About
Niritek was created to help preserve and promote the critically endangered skills of Straw Crafting by designing and producing hand tools that enable the continuation of this fascinating area of crafts. Working with leading authorities and artisans we aim to use modern techniques and technologies to provide tools which will help keep this heritage alive.
Our first products launched in 2024 were our range of 'pencil-type' straw splitters and we have since been working to expand the range that now include tube-type straw splitters, straw star making tools and beginner kits, quillers, reproduction antique style paddle splitters and straw sorting tubes.
We try to use sustainable and eco-friendly materials throughout the design and manufacturing processes to combine age-old design concepts with modern manufacturing techniques in the hope that we can take the craft forwards to a wider audience in the future.
