Nikole Tursi

About

Nikole’s artistic journey was ignited in Buenos Aires, where resourcefulness became her creative compass. Navigating the limitations of Argentina's couture and millinery industries honed her ability to find extraordinary potential in ordinary materials. This, coupled with an immersive experience at the Teatro Colón Opera House, has profoundly shaped her aesthetic sensibilities and artistic approach.
Since relocating to London, Nikole’s artistic practice has continued to evolve. Having the access to an incredibly wide range of materials, tools and techniques, she found an unparalleled sense of freedom as she continues to explore the transformative power of craft.
Infused with a sense of fantasy, Tursi’s work fuses painting, sculpture, embroidery, beading, and textile manipulation to transform materials into wearable art. Each piece is a dialogue between textures, shades, and forms, where vintage and reclaimed elements find new life. Through her work, she invites the wearer to become part of a narrative of empowerment and transformation. She committed to preserving the essence of craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of wearable art.
