I learnt to engrave in the early 80s in New Orleans where after travelling around the US I stopped for a couple of years.
Hand engraved gold name pendants was a big thing there at the time and I was lucky enough to be meet Dennis Daigle,a very generous craftsman who took me under his wing and introduced me to hand engraving a craft that I have loved ever since.

I now engrave and carve for a variety of different customers and on a variety of metals. Subjects include portaits of people and animals, some mystical, historic World War II planes and pilots, trophies, signet rings, coins, society badges, plaques and heraldic designs.

I have also been fascinated by effigy building and wood and stone carving over the past few years.
