About
I have opened my shop and studio at 10 Market Place Shepton Mallet.
The studio features an open-plan workspace with two large floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing passers-by to watch the craftsmanship and skill involved in my work as it happens.
Visitors often stop to observe because they are fascinated by the many layers, techniques, and processes involved in creating and restoring each piece.
Seeing traditional upholstery work up close helps people gain a deeper understanding of the time, patience, and expertise required to produce quality handcrafted furniture.
Through my shop, I aim to help the public appreciate the heritage, skill, and craftsmanship that lie at the heart of traditional upholstery. By making the process visible and accessible, I hope to keep these valuable craft skills alive and inspire a greater appreciation for handmade work.
