About

As an experienced heritage skills Craftsman, Glass Artist and Teacher, my practice covers glass commissions, repairs, in both stained glass and heritage building, and educational courses, and spans a comprehensive variety of specialist traditional skills. I’ve been described as “the next generation of a dying breed" an artisan with a well-grounded foot in several areas of expertise. In business since 2004 as Le Breton Traditional, and based near Exeter in Devon, I work for clients across the South West, and in the wider UK and Europe. I also lecture for the Art Foundation course at Exeter College. My stained glass work covers everything from basic repairs to domestic commissions and elaborate heraldic and historical kiln fired paint and silverstain work. Because of my early training in eclisiastical stone masonry and carpentry I am often able to provide the whole repair package when looking at deteriorated historic windows where not only the glass is in a delicate state but also associated stone and timber.
