About

Josephine specialises in the ancient art of felt making by manipulation and transformation of dyed and natural wools into new creations. Sometimes embedding a myriad of plant fibres, fabrics, wire or found items pertinent to a specific place or memory within the layered surface.
Exploring vibrant and complementary colourways. Her fibre art depicts abstracted, semi expressive imagined worlds, inspired by nature, the stories we share, lands and seas.
Creating richly textural fibre art, free standing soft sculptures incorporating wet and dry felting techniques, masks and unique jewellery.

She runs wet and dry felting workshops for groups and individuals both in her studio and other locations
