About

I like researching and making historically-inspired dress with a preference of studying women’s dress from between 18th - 20th centuries although I do indeed also study historical male dress. I love finding out about the lives of people who lived in the past, the clothes they wore (and sometimes made as well) and what that can tell us about their lived experiences in the past. I’m currently involved in two projects making clothing for museums and working on another larger project for next year. I’m currently learning more about contemporary tailoring and in the future hope to offer more products and services.
