About
I am traditionally trained and qualified in the art of Donegal Tweed hand loom weaving where I completed my training under the watchful eye of Master Weaver John Heena, from Ardara in Co Donegal. I now weave scarves, crios belts, lap and hygge blankets and fabrics on a traditional floor loom built in Killybegs, Co Donegal and lovingly rebuilt in Co Antrim from which I produce a range of accessories and offer demonstrations of spinning and weaving at local heritage events in Ireland. I also offer 1-1 tuition on easy to use looms to encourage others to engage in this wonderful skill for both pleasure and the benefits to our wellbeing that this rhythmic, meditative craft offers in abundance.
