About
Jane Sedgwick is a jewellery artist based in Norfolk, UK and is a graduate of the Royal College of Art.
Jane focuses on traditional woodworking techniques and manages a small woodland which provides a sustainable supply of timber for her work. Beads and beadwork are often at the core of her practice, combined with textile techniques using both natural and reclaimed fibres.
Research into traditional craft technologies inform Jane’s making, but with a contemporary aesthetic. Often working with geometric forms, repetition, and colour, but with an element of playful tactility always central to each piece.
