Mouth blown sheet glass is currently classed as extinct in the UK and it is my aim to start the revival!

Cylinder glass is the most amazing material for stained glass and involves blowing a long tube of coloured glass that is then split and opened into a flat sheet, like opening a rolled canvas.

I began my journey in glass making as a stained glass artist before moving into hot glass and sculpture. But I have been experimenting with this process for over 10 years. I recently recieved a training bursary from HC and Soane Britan which allowed me to visit two of the 4 makers in the world of mouth blown sheet.

I now run quarterly events for demonstrating and selling the craft at my studio in Stourbridge through my partners gallery Blowfish Glass.
