Debbie graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, London, in 1998 and has been passionately engaged in wheel-thrown ceramics ever since.
Her work, crafted from porcelain and smooth white stoneware, draws inspiration from the classic forms of Korea, China, and Japan. Debbie skillfully balances traditional aesthetics with innovative designs, exploring unique shapes that are complemented by her distinctive graphic and minimalist glazes, fostering a harmonious relationship between form and surface.
In addition to creating one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces, Debbie has collaborated on tableware commissions for both restaurants and private clients. She has also partnered with fellow artists to expand her creative horizons.
Additionally, Debbie offers personalised one-on-one throwing lessons for those interested in developing their skills.
