About
I mostly carve my local sandstone. Taking inspiration from the Pictish monuments in the local landscape I carve new monuments in the Pictish style.
I also recreate and re-imagine lost and fragmentary monuments and produce smaller carvings based on both the early medieval monuments of Scotland and the later medieval work of the West Highlands and Islands in chlorite schists and slate.
I also present the podcast 'The Scot-Craft Podcast'.
