About

At Dartmoor Leather I make high-end leather goods inspired by the natural world, particularly the trees of Dartmoor and their shifting colours throughout the seasons.

My unique leather bags are shaped and tooled as leaves in various colours and designs. I also offer classic belts, key rings, card wallets and other small accessories.

I work in a small studio inside my home near Moretonhampstead.

I use traditional premium leatherworking techniques and high quality veg tanned leather. All my bags are hand stitched in traditional saddlery fashion for added strength and a beautiful aesthetic. They feature soft suede lining, leather leaf detail chapes, pockets, strong magnetic fasteners, copper rivets and solid brass fittings. All the designs are my own.

I trained with John Hagger at Tanner Bates, where I then went on to work as a master leather worker for 13 years. At Tanner Bates I specialised in creating bespoke pieces as well as designing and making a variety of high-quality products.
