Traditional British Willow Basketmaking and Contemporary Willow Basketmaking
I research traditional willow basketry and the techniques and skills in the UK, many of these are locally distinct and at significant risk of loss. I specialize in re-making traditional willow baskets using these endangered techniques, and pass on the skills through 1:1 and 1:2 workshops and an apprentice.
