About

Sustainable woodworking from the Cotswolds. I practice coppicing and hurdling at 100 Acer Conservation Project, harvesting hazel and willow using hand tools to create hazel hurdles and structures and eco-friendly wooden home decor.

Every rustic tealight holder and wall art piece is made from storm-fallen, coppiced or reclaimed wood sourced within a few miles of my Wotton-under-Edge workshop. Hand-finished with natural oils and beeswax.

Drawing inspiration from folklore and the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, I craft functional art that celebrates the character of local British wood — its knots, bark, moss and natural form — often giving new life to timber that would otherwise be used for firewood or thrown in landfill.
