Audrey Fasquelle is a marquetry specialist and tutor based in the United Kingdom. Trained in France, she holds a Diplôme des Métiers d’Art in marquetry and has developed a practice combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary approaches to teaching and making.
Her work focuses on the design and creation of decorative veneer compositions, exploring the natural qualities of wood through grain, colour and texture. Alongside her professional practice in the luxury automotive industry, Audrey teaches marquetry at institutions including West Dean College, the Farnham School of Furniture and Robinson House Studio, where she is committed to making the craft accessible to new audiences.
Through teaching and writing, she aims to support the transmission of marquetry skills and encourage wider appreciation of this historic decorative art.
