Finance Officer (maternity cover)

Hannah is an architecture graduate who has worked in the charity sector for a number of years, making her way through voluntary work with conservation charities, to working for a circus charity since 2017. Her role there developed to take on more and more financial tasks as she discovered that this is where her passion lay.

While studying at university, she bought a piano from an auction house in South Yorkshire and moved it up to Newcastle. On then discovering that the instrument had a cracked soundboard and couldn’t keep tune, she bought a tuning hammer and kept it roughly right for months, until the piano tuner took pity on her and put her in touch with a family selling a non-broken piano. Hannah is keen to try her hand at most things, with a Victorian house renovation currently keeping her busy. If there’s free time, she enjoys playing the (in tune) piano and sewing.
