Opportunities for Young Makers

Young Makers Club

We are looking for young makers and craft curious people between the ages of 13 to 25 to join our Young Makers Club. This is a network of young people from across the country who already have a craft practice or are embarking on their craft journey. Members will be the first to know about upcoming opportunities, get to meet other like-minded people and build their craft knowledge. The Club will meet regularly online with some in-person events, as well as on Discord. Sign up here to stay in the loop. There’s no commitment… attend as many or as few as you like!

Young Makers Exhibition Call Out

New Brewery Arts and Heritage Crafts are seeking makers and craftspeople aged 25 and under to take part in an exhibition at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester in 2025.

We want to introduce audiences to the next generation. The exhibition aims to highlight the wealth of skill, thinking, heritage understanding and imagination in the craft sector, played out in the hands of young makers.

We aim to excite and inspire audiences by including work that approaches craft through the use of:

  • Fresh Perspectives

  • Diverse Mediums

  • Storytelling

  • Community Connection

  • Sustainability Focus

  • Emerging Trends

  • and Heritage Skills

The exhibition will take place from the 8th February to 24th May 2025.
