I like to think of myself as a practising coppersmith with a specialism in conservation and restoration of copper alloys. with an original focus in lost wax casting, bronze foundry casting.
As a contemporary maker my inspirations originally developed from macro and micro textured surface from what is beneath our feet and what nourishes us. My contemporary art background has lead me to create one-off forms that give the impression of miniature landscapes. My current metalworking venture is to incorporate my artistic passions into tools for the everyday life.
