About
Armourer, with some forty years experience, including training in Japan. I work largely in a Victorian forge, using techniques which have not changed since the Middle Ages. I make my own steel, including crucible steel and damascus, and pattern-welded blades. I make blades and armour, designing for the film industry and collectors. I lecture on medieval warfare and the development of arms and armour from ancient times to the present.
