About
I have been handspinning and weaving for 20 years.
I have a flock of Shetland sheep, I shear them and process their wool by hand. I keep some of the wool undyed, and I dye some of it with plant dyes, and some with landscape dyes.
I weave on an 8 shaft loom, rigid heddle looms, and sometimes on wild handcrafted frames which I make with wood from my hazel coppice.
I also hand carve tools, from hedgerow and coppiced wood, to work with.
I teach handspinning and weaving.
I also work in reenactment and spin flax into linen thread.
