As a little mester I employ the traditional skills associated with Sheffield
silversmiths for centuries, and take the great care necessary to produce work to the trade quality of standard
Some of the services i offer and specialize in include:
-Fabrication of traditional silverware, tableware, trophies and specials
-Repairs on old and new silver, silverplate, and various metals
-Traditional pumice buffing and finishing of hollowware and flatware
-Handforged custom/specialist tooling
I have been very fortunate to learn the craft of silversmithing through my Granddad, and gain experience and training within the trade, working in various firms around Sheffield. Through this i have also been able to learn the very declining art and technique of traditional sand buffing -- a process commonly used and absolutely fundamental at the height of the English silverware trade.
