About

A superbly-equipped pressroom, museum and gallery located in the beautiful St Anthony’s Garden in the heart of York and overlooked by the city walls. Our goal is to secure the future of traditional printing, not just preserving the past but bringing it to life.

We offer workshops on a range of techniques, materials and skills. We also deliver enjoyable and informative team away days and special events, and provide bespoke tuition to support creative projects, get you started on your printing journey, or develop your practice. To use the studio please book in as a member or session pass holder or join a course or workshop.

Anyone can visit to explore the shop, gallery and tour the studio during opening hours. If you are planning a special trip to visit, please contact us as we occasionally close for events.
