About

Award winning handweaver and textile artist whose work is informed by the materials and the conversation between the yarn, the loom and her hands during the making process. Simple, timeless designs are made with care and attention to detail and intended to accompany you, collecting memories and being passed on until it’s time for them to return to the earth. Tactility, drape and weight are all as important as the appearance of the finished cloth - blankets are cosy, cushions are huggable and passementerie artworks carry meaning. Treading lightly is also key, only natural materials are selected, always from reputable sources and increasingly British traceable yarns, often from individual farms and micro mills, supporting British growers and processors and minimising the carbon footprint.
