About
I studied 3D Design: New Practise at Loughborough University and was awarded a first-class honours degree in 2012. Since graduating I have continued to design and make jewellery focused on heritage and specifically basketry. These have been made to commission, displayed in a selection of galleries and shows.
I have also been teaching jewellery making and heritage inspired jewellery making since 2014, with organisations, such as The Workers' Educational Association and Cornwall College and from my studio.
I am currently working on a community art project called Jewel-Withy with the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. This project focuses on the craft and heritage of Withy pots in the South West of England and a new portfolio of jewellery/sculpture I design and make that forms an artists expression to communicate its stories.
