With over 15 years of experience as a woodworker, designer and maker, ANH Artisan is a family run business based in the heart of Weardale in County Durham

As afurniture maker I have worked with private clients up and down the country creating unique bespoke pieces of furniture. I have also exhibited work as part of design exhibitions in the BALTIC centre for contemporary, the Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead and the Bowes muesum.

I work almost exclusively hand tools which makes every piece I make unique meaning when commissioning a piece from me you will recieve something that is as unique as you are that fits with your home, lifestyle and aesthetic.

I am passionate about woodworking as a craft which is what inspired me to offer beginners hand tool woodworking courses to keep hand tool woodworking alive and relevant. My courses are designed to give novice woodworkers a starting point with how to use hand tools and demonstrate their benefit and relevance showing the speed and accuracy that can be achieved with hand tool woodworking.
