In 2023, Iona Hall from Bristol trained with Kent-based silversmith Ray Walton. She spent her time with Ray making silver boxes, focusing on various techniques of hinge construction. During this training opportunity, Iona took her box making to the highest level, creating unusual objects that evoke a strong emotional connection.
