Andy Basham, coppice worker

In 2023, Andy Basham from Essex, received an Endangered Crafts Fund grant for himself and others to learn to make thatching spars from the last spar maker in East Anglia, and equip himself for production from his hazel coppice.

Andy’s grant was funded by the Essex Community Foundation.
